Jane is the owner of Rhapsody Hill Farm. She has many years of experience riding, training and teaching students and horses of all ages and abilities. She and her students have won numerous year end awards at open shows. While riding in their lessons and showing, Jane's students learn the value of good sportsmanship as well as the importance of good horsemanship skills. Rhapsody Hill Farm is a team and students have great fun encouraging each other. Jane also has more than thirty years of teaching experience as a public school teacher and administrator. She enjoys teaching beginner through advanced students, creating a fun and safe atmosphere while fostering their passion for horses. In her spare time, she enjoys competing, trail riding, gardening, reading, knitting, volunteering and spending time with family.

Dave, also an owner of RHF, is Jane's husband. In addition to building the barn with help from our children, Liz, Becca, and Joe, he plays a vital role in the success of the farm. He is our go-to guy and handyman for all things farm-related. He uses our tractor to remove manure and snow, he drags the ring and paddocks, repairs fences and other objects around the farm. Although he is not a rider himself, he likes to spoil the horses with treats and carrots, watch his daughters and wife ride and photograph them. He also manages the farm's website. In his spare times he creates artwork inspired by the horses. He has done a number of beautiful wire horse sculptures which can be viewed at his website, www.dthakar.com.
